What about the CAN area ?
CAN (for CANada) means the code used for distribution in Canada. There are only Nintendo games, distributed by Nintendo itself. CAN games have been imported very little. Therefore, the best way to find them is to search Canadian sites.
Canadians still tend to translate everything into French for the French speaking part of the country, Game Boy games are not exempt. Not only the box and the instructions are all in English and French but even the Nintendo seal presents these two languages! In the same spirit, Kid Icarus has two subtitles: "Des Mythes et des Monstres" in addition to the famous "of Myths and Monsters". Baseball and Play Action Football are also very interesting for a French-speaking collector since CAN is the only location where it is possible to find them with French on the packaging. Also note that a version of Zelda exists with a fault in the game code (ZC instead of ZL).
