What about the KOR area ?
KOR (for KORea) is the code used for distribution in South Korea. Because of an embargo on Japanese products, Nintendo was not allowed to distribute its products in South Korea, and had to contract with Hyundai Electronics in order to sell its games. That's the reason Nintendo consoles had their names changed, the Game Boy becoming the Mini Comboy. There are only 8 KOR games, those from the very first line-up. No other KOR games were ever released after that. The explanation mainly was the counterfeiting that made Game Boy games available at very low prices, and Hyundai simply wasn't able to fight back against such low prices. KOR games are extremely rare, and no exportation of KOR games is known. Tetris is only available in the mini Comboy pack.
