The story of Super Mario Land is set in the peaceful kingdom of Sarasaland, divided into four parts: Birabuto, Muda, Easton, and Chai. One day, a mysterious character named Tatanga arrives in Sarasaland and hypnotizes its inhabitants. He kidnaps Princess Daisy in order to marry her. Mario therefore sets off in search of Tatanga, traveling through the four geographical zones of Sarasaland and defeating his minions. He also meets monsters there who pretend to be Daisy in order to trick Mario at the end of each world. He eventually finds and defeats the evil Tatanga and his gunship Pagosu, in the skies of the Chai Kingdom, and rescues Daisy.

    Cover Comparison

  • All boxes have the same visual.
  • Note that there is a USA version, without a gold code, which does not have the same images on the back of the box as the following versions.
  • Curiously, for the European FAH classics edition, the box code does not change with the normal FAH versions
  • In-game Comparison

    • All roms are the same
