Qix KOR
The player, symbolized by a spark or a diamond depending on the version, must try to conquer 75% or more of a large empty rectangle to move on to the next level. To do this, the player can move along any line (initially, the edge of the screen) then leave his territory to create a new one. If he manages to close the figure he draws, he gains a new portion of the field. This then becomes "solid" or reveals a piece of image. But the empty space contains a strange creature with erratic and unpredictable movements, the Qix. If the latter or one of the many creatures he regularly expels touches an open line (a Stix), the player loses a life1. It is possible to draw fast or slow stixes, the latter earning double points. But the more the space shrinks around the Qix, the more agitated it becomes.
